Our Karamoja Tourism Academy will handle the recruitment of participants for refresher trainings for in-service hospitality staff from the Karamoja sub-region. The refresher trainings will be given at the end of May 2021 at Hotel Africana Moroto in the areas of room attendant, waitron, customer care, trainer of trainer, bakery and pastry.
This training is part of the Karamoja Tourism Academy 2021 roadmap to get the regional hospitality and tourism workforce ready to hosts guests again now international borders are opening up. The next in-service training for Uganda’s Karamoja sub-region is planned to take place in October 2021 in collaboration with Ukarimu Academy.
The Karamoja Tourism Academy Brian and co-facilitator Peter are visiting the students of the Tourism and Hospitality training (Ukarimu Academy) in Eastern Uganda. The students have concluded 3 months of internship at their workplace and are about to start their exchange internship at a different hotel.
