Birding this area is a whole new adventure for one who has only covered the traditional Uganda birding tour that traverses the central, southwestern and western parts of the country. While exploring Mountain Moroto’s southern rocky slopes, acacia and broad-leaved woodlands, we added a couple of incredible birds that included the Orange River (Archer’s) Francolin, Wahlberg’s Honeyguide, Grey Wren-warbler, Uncommon Hemprich’s Hornbill and The restricted-range African Citril.”
