After being and travelling in Uganda for a while, I can say that the 4 Days Karamoja Safari Tour has been my most beautiful and impressive experience I have done here (and probably in my life).
Kara-Tunga has been simply perfect in organising everything and the staff (included Ivan, the cook and manager of the guesthouse, who is both very good and very kind) is really amazing and fun.
I cannot say what was the thing I liked the most because from the trekking to the visit the Nomad Warriors in the Kraal, I have appreciated every single moment. It has been a real opportunity and luck for me to be in contact with a so different culture, extremely interesting and welcoming.
Karamoja family trip: What a genuine experience! Me, my wife and 6 years old son spent 1 night with a family on Mt Moroto and we stayed 1 night in a kraal.
“We were 2 friends looking for a small Hike around Mount Moroto and what we experienced was beyond our expectations! Amazing hike organised with beautiful views and villages! Great interaction with the locals as well!” (Read the original review by Eleanor Pairet on Facebook)
Marije Boot (Netherlands), Tour of Karamoja 2022 – Marije participated for the second time in Uganda’s annual wilderness bicycle event and this year she brought a friend along.
Trekking Uganda’s Mount Kadam with Kenya-based Dutch primatologist Yvonne A. de Jong and American conservationist and ecologist Thomas M. Butynski have had an interest for what lies within the forgotten corners of Uganda’s Karamoja sub-region and bordering Kenya’s Turkana and West-Pokot counties.
