Kara-Tunga Tours and Mountain Slayers Uganda have partnered to organise the first-of-its-kind Karamoja 3 Mountains Challenge 6 Days (3 Peaks • 69 Km • 5,442 m elevation).
From November 17th to 22nd, 2023, participants will tackle three of the least-climbed peaks in Uganda: Mount Kadam, Mount Moroto, and Mount Napak. This challenge is perfect for experienced hikers who are looking for an off-the-beaten-path adventure.
The mountains of Karamoja are an exciting alternative to the more strenuous climbs in East Africa with many of the same attractions, a milder climate, lower elevation, and requiring no special equipment or technical experience.
Different from other mountains in Uganda, these mountains are still inhabited by indigenous communities, which adds a unique cultural experience to the challenge.

It was a fantastic week showcasing Kara-Tunga Tours and Kara-Tunga Foundation at the Uganda-EU Business Forum in Kampala. I’m excited to continue these conversations at the Pearl of Africa Tourism Expo on May 23-25, 2024! See you there!
