Bicycles for conservation in Karamoja – To reduce the carbon footprint and cost of our operations, we have ordered Ugandan-made reliable and strong bicycles from a fantastic social enterprise called CooP-Uganda (Cycling Out Of Poverty).
The bicycles will be used by the Karamoja Conservation Zones initiative for the parish based employees to conduct monitoring, sensitising and training activities.
International bird observations platform eBird approved the Pian-Upe Eco Camp as bird watching hotspot. This is a great achievement of Kara-Tunga Foundation‘s – Karamoja Conservation Zones initiative who established the camp as research and monitoring centre.
