Kara-Tunga Foundation is celebrating the succesful completion of project inception meeting with Nakapiripirit and Moroto District local government for the Karamoja Conservation Zones initiative.
The Foundation was able to introduce the ‘ of ‘Karamoja Conservation Zones’ initiative, solicit for ideas and create buy-in from key-stakeholders. The meeting was attended by district and sub county head of departments, private sector players and development partners.
We are looking forward to piloting a sustainable conservation model in Moroto and Nakapiripirit District with the ambition to scale-up across Uganda’s Karamoja sub-region.
