24th May 2023 – Kara-Tunga Foundation hosted the French Ambassador to Uganda at the Karamoja Museum in Moroto. The ambassador visited our district for the first time to gain inspiration for future culture-related collaborations.
We greatly thank the ‘Ateker Cultural Group’ and other partners for making an unforgettable first impression.

They conducted primate surveys in northeastern Uganda from 2014 to 2017
The lately trendy Uganda birding destination is our unexplored Karamoja region. Our Kara-Tunga gudie Brian took Mr. Crammy Wanyama of Avian Safaris and his clients for a day of birding around Mount Moroto Central Forest Reserve along the Kenyan border.
