We are celebrating that our ‘Ateker Documentary‘ has been nominated for ‘NGO International Film Festival’ held in Nairobi Kenya.
NGO International Film Festival
The NGO International Film Festival aims to collate and disseminate human-centered stories, themed along Sustainable Development Goals, catalyze a knowledge sharing culture and harness a digital media library for change makers.
Climate change and Conflict
This year’s festival focuses on three themes: Climate change, Conflict and COVID-19. The Ateker Documentary highlights both Climate Change and Conflict where the filmmaker visits one of the most remote and unaccessible communities in South Sudan. This Jie community have no access to clean drinking water but the single dam in the large community. But due to prolonged drought, they more frequently seek for water and end up in conflict over the scare resource with neighbouring communities.
