The Uganda Film Festival Awards also known as UFF Awards, are presented annually to recognize excellence in the film Industry in Uganda. Nominated films are screened at a five-day festival like Ateker Documentary.
The documentary did not win the award for best documentary in Uganda, but it did win the award at The Shorts festival in Lagos Nigeria!

Hiking Untamed Mountains of Karamoja in Northeastern Uganda – Kara-Tunga is developing a trail for untamed outdoor adventure (hiking, cycling, walking) with authentic cultural experiences through Uganda’s lesser travelled Karamojaland.
Tour operators among other stakeholders in Uganda and Ethiopia have been urged to promote tourism products and services in both countries as a single destination. This development will greatly improve the freedom of movement between the countries and Kara-Tunga’s initiative for cross-border tourism development in the region.
