The editors of Columbus Travel called on travelers to nominate organizations and individuals for the Columbus Travel Awards, the Oscars of the world of travel.
The purpose of the Awards is to celebrate exceptional initiatives and individuals in the world of travel and make them known to a wider audience. From the hundreds of fantastic entries, the editors have selected three nominees for each award category, guided by the ‘break-even travel’ principles for sustainable travel and a simple question: how does the nominee make the world a little better for travelers and the locals? The winners of the Columbus Travel Awards will be announced during the festive award ceremony at the Sir Adam Hotel in Amsterdam on Monday 14 November.
The first group of Karamoja regional hiking guides have successfully completed the hiking guiding training by Bergwandelen.com in collaboration with Karamoja Tourism Academy.
