We spent 24 days in Uganda, driving the whole circle by ourselves. The best part of our trip was visiting Karamoja with Kara-Tunga guides. Our guide was Thomas, and he was excellent. Full of knowledge about the people of Karamoja. We spent three great days together, visiting the villages and kraal (cattle camp), having a homestay in a traditional village and visiting the cattle market. We also met Michael, he was very kind and he helped us a lot.
You should not miss visiting that part of Uganda with Kara-Tunga.
An exciting new project is about the get shape. In partnership with Bicycles for Humanity Karamoja, iEmpowerment founding father Pat Montani and English former professional racing cyclist and present day Tour de France commentary Paul Sherwen.
Moroto visit doesn’t disappoint – Hiking and sundowning in the mountain is a unique way of learning about the peoples of northeastern Uganda, from its highlands to the vast plains below.
