Karamoja family trip: What a genuine experience! Me, my wife and 6 years old son spent 1 night with a family on Mt Moroto and we stayed 1 night in a kraal.
Together with a friend I visited the Ik tribe in northern part of Karamoja, and it turned out to be the most remote and culturally interesting region in Uganda I ever traveled! Don’t expect hotels and well catered camp sites.
We’re looking back at a 18 Days Roadtrip through Uganda with our friends ‘Marcel (Lomuria) & Vera (Natuk)’ from The Netherlands. We had the pleasure to host their first time in Africa with special attention to Karamoja.
