This surely cannot happen without sharpening the skills of various actors in the sector. He also added that the global COVID-19 pandemic has given Uganda an opportunity to scale its human resources skills. Most Ugandans have academic qualifications with no matching practical skills, making them uncompetitive: both regionally and globally. Time to change that!

But that will not discourage us because at Ukarimu, we strongly believe that through skilling the young Ugandans in domains that are considered crucial by their former employees, we can still maximize their chances of returning to their jobs and position the sector for effective recovery!
