From the beautiful Pian Upe Wildlife Reserve lands, we shall pedal through Turkana the Carmel land to the wild kidepo valley national park.
Its not just a ride it’s a journey mixed with an adventure to empower the next generation. Together lets break down barriers and create a brighter future for these young children.

The mountains of Karamoja are an exciting alternative to the more strenuous climbs in East Africa with many of the same attractions, a milder climate, lower elevation and requires no special equipment or technical experience.
To Mount Moroto, our journey is mix of rich encounters with Karamojong highland people known as Tepeth a welcoming community, a beautiful view of a seasonal water fall, a melodic chirping of birds, happy harmonies for the ears, a campsite where you can enjoy the sunset, the stars and the sunrise in the pearl of Africa.
To Mount Napak, its known for its steepness, the climb challenge but fun. Not for the weak hearted to climb. Otherwise, you are up for a beautiful panoramic view for the Karamoja planes and distance mountain ranges.
Mount Kadam is one to walk up to. The fertile foothills is a home to many surrounding tribes; the Karamojong, Pokot, Gishu, Tepeth, Sebei, and kadam of the Karamojong people. Exploration of the high-altitude rain forest and different views.
Mount Morungole is home to the IK people, the smallest ethnic group of people in Uganda with a beautiful culture. This awards you with amazing view of Kidepo Valley National Park.

Turkana, in northwest Kenya, is a vast and arid region steeped in rich cultural heritage and natural beauty. Our journey begins in Moroto, where we cross into Turkana land, passing gold mining sites and Karamojong tribe settlements. A trip to Turkana offers an opportunity to experience the untamed wilderness of Africa’s one discovers the secrets of the destination.
Vsit Palm Beach, meet local fishermen and learn about their traditional practices. Central Island Park is another highlight, which is home to three volcanoes featuring three crater lakes, Flamingo Lake, Crocodile Lake and Tilapia Lake. Lake Turkana itself is a marvel, being the world’s largest alkaline lake and largest lake of any kind in the desert. This wonder is a must see for wildlife lovers and geologists. A visit to the Turkana homestead is an exciting adventure. you are rewarded with a cultural experience starting from their way of dressing, their traditional dances, specifically you get to witness their pastoralist way of life.
As the sun sets, one is treated to a display of color and light. The desert landscape takes on a golden hue, and the sky is painted with shades of pink and orange. The best time to visit is between April and November, with mild weather and breathtaking scenery. Pack warm clothing, sunscreen, and a hat for the desert climate.

Trekking Uganda’s Mount Kadam with Kenya-based Dutch primatologist Yvonne A. de Jong and American conservationist and ecologist Thomas M. Butynski have had an interest for what lies within the forgotten corners of Uganda’s Karamoja sub-region and bordering Kenya’s Turkana and West-Pokot counties.
Dutch cycling couple Paul Zuidgeest and Kathleen Verhelst are cycling through Africa and passed through Karamoja land with Kara-Tunga that took them to Kidepo Valley National Park.
With immediate effect (Monday July 26, 2021), the Republic of Kenya has waived the requirement of obtaining a visa to enter Kenya for Pasport holders of Republic of South Sudan. Premised on the principle of reciprocity, the Republic of South Sudan has also waived visa requirements for Kenyans wishing to visit their country.
5th October 2022 (Kaabong District) – Kara-Tunga Arts & Tours and partner USAID/RTI International officially launched the first two Eco Camps in Kidepo Landscape on Wednesday 5th October 2022.
