This activity starts with an early rise before the sun rises and a walk to the point where the study of the sunrise happens. The elders will take you through the Ik calendar which is a specific mountain range. The Ik calendar is studied at this particular point to see the areas where the sun rises to determine the fore coming season in relation to the previous sun partners.
